Over the last few months fans have seen a number of former WWE stars return to the company, but recently it was reported by Tokyo Spots that WWE NXT star Sarray would be leaving when he contract expired.
Sarray held a press conference on Monday confirming her departure, and she also noted that she will be working as a freelance wrestler in Japan moving forward. She later issued a statement on Twitter regarding her departure when she posted the following:
“No matter what some people might say, I did my best. I am so glad that I had the chance to go to WWE. Thank you WWE. Thank you Sarray. Thank you WWE Universe.”
It was recently reported that the writing was on the wall for Sarray in early 2022 when many of her biggest supporters in WWE were let go. It’s being said that she was never factored into creative in a consistent manner after that and that she hadn’t been around the WWE Performance Center in ages. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
