WWE’s Cruiserweight division has experienced an injury recently. The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports Noam Dar suffered some kind of injury during his match against Austin Aries on Raw this week.
He is reportedly scheduled for an exam on WrestleMania Sunday. This means he will not only miss WrestleMania weekend, but he could also be out even longer. Let’s hope the Scottish Supernova, Noam Dar is able to get back into fighting shape soon. We can’t wait to see him and Alicia Foooox walk down the aisle once more.
Rusev has been out for several weeks due to a shoulder surgery while Lana has been had at work in NXT. However, WrestleMania opens up several opportunities for new and exciting programs in WWE. Superstars might get switched around, will go away, and some will return.
Rusev is currently being advertised for the Raw after WrestleMania on April 3rd from the Amway Center. It is interesting to note Rusev isn’t booked for the week after that at the Nassau Coliseum in Uniondale, New York. But the fact that he appears on the advertised superstars list for the Raw after WrestleMania on WWE.com certainly looks like a good sign for fans of the Bulgarian Brute.
It’s also interesting to note that on the Nassau Coliseum’s website, they are advertising a tag match between Chris Jericho and Seth Rollins vs Kevin Owens and Samoa Joe. This could mean a couple of things. It could mean that Kevin Owens and Chris Jericho won’t be concluding their feud at WrestleMania. After all, Chris Jericho is currently being advertised for WWE Payback so their feud could have some kind of blow-off match then to make it a bigger deal.
It could also mean Seth Rollins and Samoa Joe will be feuding next after Mania. Joe isn’t booked at all for the Show Of Shows, and some have speculated if we see him it will be as interference during the Seth Rollins/Triple H match.
