You never know what’s going to happen during Monday Night Raw, and last week Seth Rollins held an open challenge for his United States Championship. During the main event segment Bobby Lashley destroyed Seth Rollins before the match could begin.
Austin Theory apparently saw that as the perfect opportunity as Theory made his way out to cash in Money in the Bank for the US Title. Unfortunately for Theory his cash in didn’t go the way he wanted it to as he failed to win the United States Championship.
WWE Monday Night Raw announcer Corey Graves recently discussed Theory’s failed cash in on the After The Bell podcast, and he made it clear that he was not a fan of how it went down.
“I’m furious with how it all played out. I was furious as it was unfolding before our very eyes mere feet away from us as Theory strutted his way down.” He added, “I think the world of Austin Theory and I truly believe what Mr. McMahon was saying six months ago. This guy could be the guy. I understand things change. Everything has changed, everything in our universe has changed in the last few months.”
“I will say this. If Theory doesn’t do something massive between now and Survivor Series, maybe it’s time to worry. And not in the long-term thing. Austin Theory is what 24-years-old? The dude’s gonna be fine.”
