Survivor Series gave fans plenty to talk about as the show featured an action packed main event which saw The Original Bloodline & CM Punk defeat The New Bloodline & Bronson Reed.
During the match Bronson Reed climbed to the top of the cage and went for a Tsunami on Roman Reigns who was set up on a table below. As Reed was falling, CM Punk pulled Reigns out of the way at the last second, and Reed crashed through the table.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown it was confirmed that Bronson Reed suffered an ankle injury and a broken foot while attempting the Tsunami. It was also confirmed that the injuries have taken him out of action indefinitely.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that when he inquired about Bronson Reed’s status he was told that Reed is expected to miss WrestleMania 41 next year. The timetable for his return is unknown, but the expectation is that it’s going to be a long time before Bronson Reed can return to the ring.
Stay tuned for more updates on Bronson Reed’s status as they become available.
