Recently fans have been seeing a lot more crossover between the WWE main roster and NXT and R-Truth made his way to NXT to face Grayson Waller on the November 1 episode. Unfortunately for R-Truth the match had to be stopped after he did a dive over the top rope and landed awkwardly on the outside. The former 24/7 Champion was then helped to the back.
R-Truth recently shared an update on his status and he confirmed that he is indeed dealing with a torn quad that will require surgery. Truth thanked the fans for their support and he also made it clear that he plans on returning to the ring at some point.
Typically the recovery time for a torn quad is 4 to 6 months. It’s not clear when R-Truth will return, but we will keep you updated on his status.
