Last week’s episode of NXT was originally set to feature Ilja Dragunov defending the NXT Championship against Trick Williams in the main event, but plans were changed after it was announced that Ilja was not medically cleared to compete.
Grayson Waller stepped up to face Trick Williams in the main event with Trick’s NXT Title shot on the line. The match featured a surprise appearance from Kevin Owens who ended up punching Grayson Waller. Kevin Owens then went on to punch Logan Paul in the face on SmackDown after winning the United States Title Tournament.
Recently Grayson Waller released a new video talking about how he and Theory went to check on Logan Paul after he was punched by KO. Waller then claimed, “We’re starting to fear for our lives backstage. There’s a mad man running around punching people”

Grayson Waller is never one to shy away from controversy and the comment about he and Theory fearing for their lives seems like an obvious reference to AEW’s Tony Khan saying he feared for his life following a backstage altercation involving CM Punk at All In last year.
