For years now Bray Wyatt has been one of the most talked about Superstars in all of wrestling, and the former Universal Champion has been sidelined due to an illness for months. Details regarding Bray Wyatt’s status have been kept quiet, but now Triple H has informed the world that Bray has passed away. The Game took to social media earlier today to post the following:
“Just received a call from WWE Hall of Famer Mike Rotunda who informed us of the tragic news that our WWE family member for life Windham Rotunda – also known as Bray Wyatt – unexpectedly passed earlier today. Our thoughts are with his family and we ask that everyone respect their privacy at this time.”
Following the Elimination Chamber premium live event back in February, Bray Wyatt started building toward a feud with Bobby Lashley, and it was rumored that the two stars would be facing off at WrestleMania. However, Wyatt stopped appearing on TV and it was reported that he was sidelined due to an undisclosed illness. This is a developing story and details regarding the circumstances of his passing remain unknown at this time.
Our condolences go out to Bray Wyatt’s family, friends, and fans. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
