You never know when a wrestler might part ways with WWE and it seems that another name is officially done with the company. Today Damon Kemp took to social media to announce that he’s no longer under contract with WWE when he posted the following:
“As of today I am no longer under contract with WWE. Forever grateful for the people I met and the experiences I’ve had. For business inquiries – damonkempmgmt@gmail.com”
Fightful Select reports that Damon Kemp was told his contract would not be renewed and this is not part of a round of cuts. It was also noted that this has become the norm in recent months when it comes to WWE departures.
Damon Kemp, real name Bobby Steveson, first signed with WWE in 2021. He is the real life brother of Gable Steveson who also parted ways with WWE recently. Kemp last appeared on the June 25 episode of NXT.
