It’s been a big week for WWE as WrestleMania 39 aired live from SoFi Stadium last weekend and the Hall of Fame induction ceremony also took place last week. Rey Mysterio was the big headliner for the 2023 Hall of Fame class, and ahead of his induction he presented Legado Del Fantasma with LWO shirts and told the group that together would be known as the new LWO moving forward.
Now it seems that WWE will be moving away from the Legado Del Fantasma name as the WRKD Wrestling account is reporting that the idea of Legado Del Fantasma being referred to as the LWO full time has been discussed.
On the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown, Rey Mysterio & Santos Escobar were escorted to the ring by the rest of Legado Del Fantasma as they prepared to take on Dominik Mysterio and Damian Priest of The Judgment Day.
During the segment the members of Legado Del Fantasma made their way out into the arena decked out in LWO gear, so it appears that WWE is embracing this idea moving forward.
