It’s been quite the week so far as WWE Clash in Paris aired live on Sunday and Monday’s episode of Raw focused on the fallout from the show. During Raw, Becky Lynch attacked CM Punk, and he told her that she will regret putting her hands on him. CM Punk then teased that something is going to happen at SmackDown in Chicago on Friday.
Fans have been speculating that WWE is setting up a major return for AJ Lee, and it was recently reported that the plan is for AJ to team with CM Punk to face Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch at WrestlePalooza later this month.
After the reports started making the rounds a fan on social media asked the WWE Shop account about AJ Lee merch, and the account provided an interesting answer. The WWE Shop account on X seemingly confirmed AJ Lee’s return in a now deleted tweet that read as follows:
“Hey there! Of course, we wouldn’t expect that. With AJ Lee’s return to the ring, we are looking to have some gear hopefully in time for Wrestlepalooza. Be sure you’re signed up for emails and get the latest updates on new live inventory. Happy shopping!”
Even though the tweet was quickly deleted screenshots have been spreading all around the internet. At this point it doesn’t seem that WWE is going out of their way to keep AJ Lee’s return a secret as the company is putting together a big card for WrestlePalooza which will air on the same day as the AEW All Out pay-per-view.
