Over the last year or so there have been several WWE stars who have been trying to make a name for themselves and everyone seems to be talking about LA Knight. The SmackDown star has created quite the buzz and there’s no telling how far he could go in WWE.
LA Knight didn’t end up making an appearance at WrestleMania this year, but during a recent episode of his Keepin’ It 100 podcast Konnan speculated that Knight may be in line for a push now that WrestleMania season is over.
“I’m just gonna imagine. Well, look, they brought him in. They had him in the Male Models. They obviously knew they had something with him, so they took him out of that and put him in with Bray Wyatt, which at that time they had high hopes for Bray Wyatt. It isn’t their fault that Bray Wyatt didn’t deliver because he did. And I’m just thinking maybe hopefully possibly that since it’s WrestleMania, they’ve got other things that are bigger than him right now. They’re probably gonna, you know, push him after WrestleMania. (…) Because he’s ready, bro. He’s ready to explode.”
One way or another it seems that LA Knight is quickly becoming one of the most popular stars on the SmackDown brand, and he’s set to face off against Xavier Woods on this week’s episode. It will be interesting to see how LA Knight is used in the months to come. Stay tuned for updates.
