The 2020 WWE Draft kicked off last week on Friday Night SmackDown, and it concluded on Monday Night Raw this week. The deck was shuffled and New Day members Xavier Woods & Kofi Kingston were moved to Raw, while Big E stayed on SmackDown.
Over the last few months Big E has been working as a singles star, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that Big E is expected to get a huge push on the SmackDown brand.
It was also noted that the top faces on SmackDown are Jey Uso and Daniel Bryan.
However, Bryan is not currently on TV right now, and Jey Uso may be returning to the tag team division once Jimmy returns. Kevin Owens and Rey Mysterio were also recently moved to SmackDown in the draft.
Stay tuned for more updates on Big E’s push as they become available.
