Nothing gets the attention of the fans like a good heel turn, and it looks like one of SmackDown Live’s finest could be making the switch soon.
It was recently reported on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE officials are considering turning Asuka heel, possibly before WWE Evolution in October.
Asuka was on a roll with her undefeated streak in NXT, and the streak carried over when she was called up, but she’s struggled to find the same success on the main roster.
After losing to Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 34, the former NXT Women’s Champion then failed to win the SmackDown Women’s Championship during her recent feud with Carmella.
