WWE Signs Former Impact Wrestling Star, Sienna Talks Mae Young Classic

The WWE roster is constantly expanding, and the company recently signed a former Impact Wrestling Knockouts Champion.

According to PWInsider, it’s been confirmed that Mia Yim has signed with WWE.

Yim competed in the 2017 Mae Young Classic and she returned for this year’s tournament as well. She is the first competitor from the 2018 Mae Young Classic to be signed and she reportedly started with the company on 9/16.

Speaking of Mia Yim, former Impact star Sienna recently talked about her Mae Young Classic match against Yim during an appearance on Women’s Wrestling Weekly, and she noted that she thought it was a joke when she found out it was booked.

“To be honest, I thought it was a joke. I thought the agent who was telling me the match, was joking. I thought she was ribbing me or something. Then I realized she wasn’t, I was shocked and surprised. I did not think that they would book that match.”
