The world has been responding to the ongoing conflict between Russia and Ukraine and now WWE has shut down the WWE Network in Russia. The company has also terminated their relationship with Russian broadcaster Match. WWE issued the following statement regarding their response to Russia invading Ukraine:
“The move eliminates access in Russia to any WWE programming, including the company’s weekly Raw, SmackDown and NXT shows, its on-demand library, and all of its premium live events, including WrestleMania 38.”
These moves regarding the termination with Match and the shut down of the WWE Network in Russia are set to take place immediately.
