It’s that special time of year when Raw and SmackDown Live go to war, and this week there was another casualty in the war on Monday night. SmackDown Live General Manager Daniel Bryan decided to pay Kurt Angle a visit this week, and he ended up catching up with an old friend as well.
Bryan was attacked by his former tag team partner Kane, and according to WWE he was taken to a local medial facility due to the attack. The following update was posted on WWE.com:
“WWE.com has learned that SmackDown General Manager Daniel Bryan was taken to a local medical facility to undergo further evaluation following a brutal surprise attack by Kane on Monday Night Raw.”
Daniel Bryan and Kane have history together as they’re former rivals who went on to become teammates and they held the WWE Tag Team Titles as Team Hell No.
After Daniel Bryan confronted Kurt Angle in his office on Raw, Kurt told him that he feared for his safety, so he told him to stay put.
The lights later went out and Kane attacked Bryan while he was left alone in the dark. The SmackDown Live General Manager was then put on a stretcher. You can see how it all went down in the video clip below.
