The WWE legal department certainly isn’t shy about sending out cease and desists whenever necessary, and it looks like the company recently sent one to Freelance Wrestling.
Freelance Wrestling was advertising an event called In Our Warehouse and an advertisement for the event sported graphics similar to that of the old WWE In Your House PPV logos.
Black Label Pro owner took to Twitter to break the news about the cease and desist when he posted the following:
“Looks like the crack legal team over at WWE sent out another cease and desist. This time to
@FreelanceWres over their “In Our Warehouse” event.
Apparently that’s going to hurt all their In Your House WWE Network views.
Petty af. Damn the man, save the empire.”
WWE Superstar Mustafa Ali recently plugged the event on Twitter, and noted that he would be donating money to the performers on the show.
In response to the cease and desist it looks like the event has been renamed Warehouse Wars.
