WWE And Sega’s New Mobile Game Sounds Like Tons Of Fun

WWE has always been at the forefront of cross-promotional opportunities. They’ve had a few mobile games already that broke the mold or reenvisioned gameplay. Now they’re teaming with another company with an incredible reputation of putting out groundbreaking games to give fans a unique gameplay experience.

WWE and Sega have announced they will partner up for a new project called, “WWE Tap Mania.” The game will feature several WWE superstars from the past and present who will be available to choose from. Players will use their selected superstars to compete in leaderboards and during in-game events including WrestleMania, SummerSlam and Royal Rumble.

Casey Collins, WWE Executive Vice President of Consumer Products said of the upcoming partnership, “we are always looking to engage our global fan base in new and exciting ways, partnering with industry leader SEGA is a great opportunity for us to continue our mobile game strategy while bringing in new fans with WWE Tap Mania.”

Naoki Kameda, COO of SEGA’s mobile division in the West said, “At SEGA, we like to find new ways to bring brands and experiences to a wide mobile gaming audience. This partnership with WWE presents a fresh opportunity for collaboration. Working with WWE, a monumental leader in global entertainment, along with The Tap Lab, a studio known for crafting action-packed games that are fun at their core, we’re confident that WWE Tap Mania will delight WWE fans worldwide.”

WWE Tap Mania is scheduled to be released later in 2017. It will be available in the Apple Store as well as the Google Play store for the Android system. We can’t wait for this game to be honest. If anything, it will undoubtedly result in plenty of commercials in the middle of Raw that will get you excited for the game even if you have no interest in playing it right now.
