Every wrestling fan knows that commentary come sometimes enhance a match in big ways, and it looks like WWE could be making a change to one of their commentary teams in the future.
CageSideSeats notes that it’s rumored WWE officials are considering adding a woman to the Raw or SmackDown Live announce team, and online speculation points to Beth Phoenix as being one of the frontrunners.
Phoenix is no stranger to commentary, as she recently joined the broadcast team for the WWE Mixed Match Challenge.
This week’s episode of SmackDown Live was the second night of the Superstar Shake-Up, and the blue brand gained some interesting names such as Jeff Hardy, Samoa Joe, Asuka, and Big Cass.
Big Cass has been out of action since he suffered an injury on Raw the night after SummerSlam in 2017, but he’s ready to return to in-ring competition.
Cass ended up making his presence felt when he attacked Daniel Bryan after the main event, and it looks like as far as Cass is concerned, Bryan has a target on his back.
The former Raw star took to Twitter to comment on his return by simply announcing that he’s back.
