WWE’s UK Tournament back in January went down so well with the WWE Universe, that the company has already decided to make a return to the UK for another two-night event in May.
This will be the first chance UK fans have to catch the likes of Pete Dunne, Mark Andrews, Tyler Bate, Trent Seven and Wolfgang since they signed with the company following the UK Tournament which crowned the first ever WWE UK Champion on January 16th.
Former Cruiserweight Champions Rich Swann, Brian Kendrick and TJ Perkins will also be there alongside Akira Tozawa and Tony Nese, but it is still yet to be announced as to whether or not the event will be broadcast on the Network.
This is also the first time that WWE has ever been to Norwich, the birthplace of former Divas Champion Paige, whom WWE are currently creating a film about.
Triple H commented on visiting the city for the first time as part of the official announcement: “It’s exciting to come to Norwich for the very first time. The passion of our fans in the UK makes every show an incredible, unforgettable experience.”
The event will take place on Saturday, May 6th and Sunday, May 7th from 7pm, live from TV Studios, the night before Monday Night Raw Live from the O2 Arena in London.
