Dolph Ziggler has had a lengthy run with WWE, and his run has been full of ups and downs. Even though Ziggler is a two time WWE World Heavyweight Champion, there are plenty of Ziggler fans out there who feel that the company has never really gotten behind him.
Ziggler recently worked WWE live events, but he hasn’t appeared on WWE programming in weeks and there’s been a lot of speculation regarding his status with the company.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE wants to take Dolph Ziggler out of the ring and make him a producer backstage.
At this point it’s not clear when, or if, fans will be seeing Dolph Ziggler on WWE programming again, as he is not currently being advertised for the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
It’s worth noting that PWInsider recently reported Dolph Ziggler turned down the offer to become a producer, and some believe that he could be on his way out of the company.
