The WWE roster is loaded with talent, and over the last few years WWE officials have been trying to lock their stars in to long term deals.
The Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that WWE officials are currently trying to lock down Riddle, as his contract is set to expire in August.
It’s also being reported that he has pretty much agreed to the terms which will see him sign a new three year deal with a guarantee of $400,000 per year.
Riddle will also be paid $50,000 for every show he works in Saudi Arabia.
It’s being said that Vince McMahon doesn’t understand Riddle’s gimmick, but he finds the vignettes he’s been doing hilarious, and he loves them. Which unfortunately means he’s falling into lower card comedy territory.
