It’s no big secret that there are a number of WWE contracts coming up this year. Recently it was reported that Natalya’s contract is set to expire in a few weeks and it seems that WWE is trying to keep her on the roster.
Fightful Select is now reporting that WWE has approached Natalya about possibly signing a contract extension with the company. Details regarding the terms are unknown, but as of right now a new deal has not been signed.
It’s being said that Natalya is keeping all options open as she has been actively working on projects outside of WWE, one of which is a possible Hart family movie.
Natalya was eliminated from the Queen of the Ring tournament when she was defeated by Iyo Sky in the first round, so she is not in Saudi Arabia for the King and Queen of the Ring premium live event. The former SmackDown Women’s Champion is in New York this week doing work with the Special Olympics and the military on behalf of WWE.
Stay tuned for more updates on Natalya’s status as they become available.
