WrestleMania is WWE’s biggest show of the year and it looks like WWE is pulling out all the stops as the company prepares to put on a spectacle over the two night event this weekend. A number of big names have already been confirmed for the show and WWE has reportedly been contacting celebrities ahead of WrestleMania.
Fightful Select is reporting that WWE recently reached out to retired Philadelphia Eagles player Jason Kelce. The 36 year old is a huge star in Philadelphia as he played at Lincoln Financial Field over the last decade, and a huge star in the sports world in general.
If Jason Kelce does appear at WrestleMania 40 he won’t be the only celebrity featured as Meek Mill was recently confirmed for the show and Lil Wayne announced on Raw that he will be debuting his new single at the Showcase of the Immortals. PWInsider is also reporting that Drew Barrymore is expected to be in attendance for the event.
WrestleMania 40 will air live from Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on Saturday, April 6 and Sunday, April 7. Stay tuned for more updates on the event as they become available.
