AEW has caught the attention of the wrestling world, and the new promotion has managed to build up a lot of hype in a short period of time.
With AEW set to debut on TNT later this year, the hype train doesn’t show any signs of slowing down.
The emergence of AEW creates competition in the industry, but according to Tom Colohue he’s been told that WWE officials aren’t feeling pressure from AEW.
A WWE source also reportedly noted that the feeling is that AEW will “implode under the weight of their own hype.”
