WWE Reportedly Testing New Tag Team

Anything can happen in WWE and NXT, so you never know who might return while you’re watching WWE programming or attending a live event.

Mike Kanellis recently returned to action at a NXT live event, and he wrestled his first match since he requested his release when he teamed with Tony Nese.

PWInsider is reporting that Tony Nese and Mike Kanellis are teaming together at this weekend’s NXT live events as a test run.

If the test run works out they could potentially be used regularly on TV in NXT.

At the NXT live event in Melbourne, FL on Friday they managed to pick up a win over Nick Ogarelli and Mohamed.

Do you want to see Tony Nese and Mike Kanellis work as a team in NXT? Sound off in the comments below.
