WWE Reportedly Talking To Former Divas Champion About Returning To The Company

With WWE Evolution coming up next month, there’s been a lot of talk about which former WWE Superstars could be returning for the event.

Trish Stratus, and Lita have already been confirmed for the show, and WWE officials are reportedly talking to a former Divas Champion.

During a recent episode of Barnburner’s Fired Up podcast, Joe Peisich claimed that the company is in contact with Melina, and they may be looking for her to make multiple appearances (via Ringside News).

“You mentioned Melina, they are in contact with Melina who by the way won a title in Australia last week. She has been impressive and they may look for her not only for a one-time only deal to sign a short-term deal with WWE.”

It’s been a while since WWE fans have seen Melina, as she was released from her contract in 2011.

Melina is still active, and she recently won the BCW Wmen’s Championship.
