It’s new era in WWE as the company has gone through a lot of changes over the last few years, and it’s also a new era for The Bloodline. Following WrestleMania 40, The Bloodline has changed significantly as the group is now led by Solo Sikoa who has recruited Tama Tonga and Tonga Loa.
Tama Tonga has been getting a lot of TV time since he joined WWE a few months ago, and Solo Sikoa named him his “Right Hand Man” on the most recent episode of Friday Night SmackDown. It seems that people in WWE have taken notice of Tama Tonga as Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that everyone has been surprised with his performances inside the ring.
“Tama Tonga’s one of the best guys they’ve got. He’s been working great. Everyone’s been surprised at how good he was. I think they knew he was good, but he’s really turned it on.
“One of the things with the guys when they come from Japan, they’re just used to a faster style so they stand out more when they come in, because they’re working that more relentless, more physical, more intense style, and that’s what he’s been doing.”
How do you feel about Tama Tonga’s WWE run so far? Sound off in the comments below.
