We’re only a few weeks away from WWE’s biggest show of the year, and in recent weeks the card has slowly but surely been coming together. Some of WWE’s biggest stars are already booked for WrestleMania 38, and it seems that there’s still one name that WWE is hoping to add to the show.
Over the last few weeks there’s been a lot of talk about where Cody Rhodes stands with WWE, and Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that WWE still wants Cody for WrestleMania.
It was also noted that Monday Night Raw is set to be in Jacksonville next week, and WWE reportedly wanted Cody for that date, so if he’s not there then the deal probably isn’t closed.
WWE had stuff set up for Cody for WrestleMania, but as of a few days ago it was said to be off the boards. However, talks are still ongoing between Cody and WWE. Stay tuned for more updates on Cody’s WWE status as they become available.
