John Cena’s retirement tour is set to kick off next week when Monday Night Raw premieres on Netflix, and there’s been a lot of talk about who the former WWE Champion could face over the next year.
Recently there’s been a lot of talk about John Cena possibly going one on one with Logan Paul, but it’s been reported that the match is “100 percent not happening” at WrestleMania 41.
Even though Cena vs. Paul isn’t expected to be featured on the WrestleMania card it looks like there’s still a chance that the match will happen in 2025.
On the Backstage Pass Q&A podcast WrestleVotes reported that there is “interest on both sides” and “interest within WWE” when it comes to a Logan Paul vs. John Cena match, just not at WrestleMania.
The idea that the match could take place next week during the Raw premiere on Netflix was also shot down. The belief is that if the match is going to happen then WWE would want to heavily promote it.
