Shawn Michaels is considered by many to be one of the greatest wrestlers to ever lace up a pair of boots. The Heartbreak Kid created quite the legacy for himself inside the squared circle and it looks like his legendary career is set to be highlighted in a new documentary.
WrestleVotes Radio on Fightful Select is reporting that a new documentary focused on WWE Hall of Famer Shawn Michaels is nearing its premiere. According to the report WWE recently completed a full-length feature on Michaels which includes new interviews with both his peers and long time adversaries.
Shawn Michaels retired from in-ring competition after he was defeated by The Undertaker in the main event at WrestleMania 26. However, he did come out of retirement one time when he teamed with Triple H to face the Brothers of Destruction at Crown Jewel in 2018.
In November of 2018, Michaels started working for the NXT brand and he currently serves as the Senior Vice President, Talent Development. It seems that WWE is in recruitment mode as Shawn Michaels is currently focused on the recent WWE tryouts.
As of right now a release date for the new HBK documentary has not been revealed, but it is reportedly coming soon.
