The coronavirus pandemic has caused some major disruptions all around the world, but WWE has found a way to keep going throughout this pandemic. However, the company has had to make some major changes.
WrestleMania was moved from Raymond James Stadium to the Performance Center in Orlando, and now it appears that plans for a big storyline have been called off.
WrestleVotes is reporting that WWE had plans for a long major storyline to unfold over the span of weeks during the spring and summer, but it’s been put on hold.
The storyline was said to have been on a level similar to the Nexus invasion of Mr. McMahon’s limo explosion.
However, it appears that one of the reasons WWE called it off is because the crowd reaction plays a major role.
At this point it’s not clear when WWE Superstars will be performing in front of an audience again, and it was recently reported that the company may have to move SummerSlam.
