The NXT brand has gone through some significant changes over the last few months as WWE relaunched it as NXT 2.0. In recent weeks fans have seen some new stars step into the spotlight in NXT 2.0, and there are also some veterans in the mix, such as Johnny Gargano.
Johnny Gargano’s contract is set to expire soon, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that Gargano has not signed a new deal. WWE is reportedly pushing hard to sign him, and it’s being said that the company made him a strong offer that would keep him with the company for a long time.
Gargano’s current WWE deal is set to expire on December 3, and Kyle O’Reilly’s deal is also expiring soon as well.
Last month Johnny Gargano got the wrestling world talking when he removed references to NXT from his Twitter bio, and he also posted a picture of his belt collection with the caption: “What’s next? 🤔”
