The Royal Rumble pay-per-view is only a few weeks away which means the WrestleMania season is quickly approaching, and fans know that they can always expect to see a few surprises during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view.
Last week on Friday Night SmackDown it was announced that current Impact Wrestling Women’s Champion Mickie James will be competing in the women’s Royal Rumble match, and it looks like we could potentially see another crossover as well.
WrestleVotes is reporting that more than one source has stated they believe WWE will try to book and unexpected forbidden door entrant for the men’s Royal Rumble match. It’s not clear at this point in time if it will happen, or who WWE might have in mind, but the company at the very least seems open to the idea which is encouraging.
The Royal Rumble pay-per-view will air live on Saturday, January 29th. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
