WrestleMania is without a doubt the biggest event in professional wrestling, and it looks like it could be getting even bigger in 2020.
According to Barnburner, WWE is currently planning to hold two WrestleMania events by 2020.
It’s being reported that at this point in time there isn’t a definite name for second event, but the situation will be similar to the Royal Rumble and Greatest Royal Rumble idea.
It’s also being reported that sources claim the second WrestleMania could take place from Saudi Arabia, London or possibly Australia. The current plan is to hold the first WrestleMania in April and the second one in October.
This year’s WrestleMania featured Brock Lesnar vs. Roman Reigns in the main event with the Universal Championship on the line.
In the end it was Brock Lesnar who walked out with the gold.
It was announced a few months ago that WrestleMania will return to MetLife Stadium in New Jersey for WrestleMania 35 in 2019. Ronda Rousey is expected to be part of the show, and it’s rumored that she could end up wrestling in the main event.
