The WWE main roster is currently loaded with talent, but there are a number of big names who are currently off TV at the moment. Over the last few years Drew McIntyre has been one of the key players in the WWE main event scene.
McIntyre had been feuding with CM Punk for the majority of 2024 and their rivalry seemingly came to an end when Punk picked up a win over Drew McIntyre at Bad Blood back in October. While CM Punk returned to WWE programming last week on SmackDown, Drew McIntyre has been absent since Bad Blood.
PWInsider is reporting that creative discussions have started regarding how, and when Drew McIntyre will be making his return to WWE. It’s being said that nothing has been set in stone, but there have been pitches and conversations pertaining to what the direction will be for Drew when he’s back on TV.
