Roman Reigns has been one of WWE’s top stars for years now, and originally he was set to challenge Goldberg for the Universal Championship at WrestleMania 36. However, The Big Dog pulled out of the event due to health concerns.
Braun Strowman replaced Roman Reigns in the title match, and WWE didn’t do much to explain the change. Strowman simply replaced Reigns and The Big Dog hasn’t been mentioned on WWE programming in weeks.
Now the Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that right now the instructions are that Roman Reigns is not to ever be mentioned on WWE TV.
As of this writing Reigns has not been mentioned on TV since the March 27 episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
At this point in time it’s not clear when Roman Reigns will be returning to WWE programming.
As we previously reported, The Big Dog recently broke his silence on pulling out of WrestleMania 36, and he also recently announced that his wife is pregnant with twins.
