With all of the returns that have been taking place over the last few months you never know who you might see in the ring and it looks one WWE star was close to lacing up the boots once again.
Fightful Select reports that originally there was a dark match set for after last week’s SmackDown tapings which was set to feature Scarlett, Karrion Kross and Damian Priest taking on Matt Riddle, Braun Strowman and Liv Morgan. However, that didn’t end up happening as Legado Del Fantasma (with Zelina Vega) teamed with Priest to face off against Madcap Moss, Riddle, Strowman and Morgan.
It’s being said that creative plans were set for Karrion Kross and Scarlett well before last Friday and Scarlett was never informed that a match was in the plans. It was noted that the internal listing for the match was either an error of a pitched idea that got nixed.
Scarlett’s most recent match took place at a MLW booking over the summer and she has yet to wrestle since returning to WWE. There’s currently no word on whether or not Scarlett has a presence when it comes to wrestling or not.
