WWE Raw’s big jump to Netflix has been a hot topic for quite some time now and the show finally debuted on the streaming service on Monday night. Raw featured a number of big moments including Rhea Ripley defeating Liv Morgan to become the new WWE Women’s World Champion, and CM Punk defeating Seth Rollins in the main event.

PWInsider is reporting that at one point CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins and Liv Morgan vs. Rhea Ripley were both penciled in for WrestleMania 41. The fact that WWE shifted the matches to the Raw premiere on Netflix shows how important the premiere was internally.

Even though CM Punk picked up a decisive victory over Seth Rollins in the main event it seems that their feud is far from over as Punk hinted that it will continue during the Raw post-show press conference.

“I don’t think we’ve seen the last of CM Punk and Seth Rollins, but I’m looking forward to the future. I’m looking to win a Royal Rumble, I’ve never done that. I’m looking to main event a WrestleMania, I’ve never done that. This is a bucket list year for me, and you ain’t seen nothing yet.”

Triple H also indicated the Punk vs. Rollins feud will continue during the post-show press conference when he said, “They had an incredible match, gave an incredible performance, and really I think when I look at it, I think they just nicked the surface of where they can go. Those two, this is the beginning. It’s the first step, not the last step.”
