It’s been a big week for WWE as WrestleMania 40 aired live from Lincoln Financial Field with Raw and SmackDown taking place from the Wells Fargo Center in Philadelphia, PA. Fans noticed that WWE used a scaled back version of their stage setup for Raw and SmackDown through WrestleMania week and it looks like we’ll be seeing a similar setup in the weeks to come.
PWInsider is reporting that the smaller setup used for SmackDown and Raw over WrestleMania week will be the norm moving forward. The idea is to roll back certain aspects of production in order to pack more fans into the arenas.
It was noted that even the 6/28 episode of Friday Night SmackDown at Madison Square Garden is expected to feature the smaller production setup. There may be exceptions, but the smaller setup is one of the changes that will be made as part of the Endeavor era.
