This week’s episode of Monday Night Raw focused on the fallout from Night of Champions, and Seth Rollins was given a chance to celebrate with his new WWE World Heavyweight Championship belt.
Rollins defeated AJ Styles in the WWE World Heavyweight Championship tournament finals, and The Phenomenal One appeared on Raw this week even though he was recently drafted to SmackDown.
PWInsider reports that AJ Styles’ appearance on Raw was a last minute creative decision. Styles was not originally set for the show and flew home after Night of Champions. WWE has no plans to blow up the brand split following the recent draft that took place a few weeks ago.
It was also noted that Seth Rollins is expected to appear on all episodes of Raw moving forward. If he has any more commitments regarding his role in Captain America: New World Order there’s not expected to be any conflicts with his WWE dates.
