This week’s episode of Raw featured two big returns as Randy Orton kicked off the show while CM Punk cut a promo in the closing segment. Randy Orton also faced off against Dominik Mysterio in a singles match and it sounds like there were some timing issues that affected the original plans for CM Punk’s segment.
PWInsider is reporting that original plans called for CM Punk’s promo to be longer which would have given the former WWE Champion more time. However, due to timing issues the Randy Orton vs. Dominik Mysterio match went longer than originally planned, so CM Punk’s time was cut.
It’s being said that it was more of an abbreviated promo than originally planned and this is simply something that happens regularly on live TV. At this point in time it’s not clear when CM Punk will be appearing on WWE programming again, but he is not currently scheduled for this week’s episode of Friday Night SmackDown.
