Main roster debuts are always exciting and in November of 2020 Chelsea Green was called up to the SmackDown brand. She competed in a fatal four way match with a SmackDown Women’s Title shot on the line which she was supposed to win, but unfortunately Green broke her wrist during the match and the result had to be changed.
Chelsea Green then spent several months sitting on the sidelines until she was eventually released from WWE in April of 2021. Since then Chelsea Green has gone on to compete in ROH and Impact Wrestling where she won the Impact Knockouts Championship and the Impact Knockouts Tag Team Championship.
According to WrestleVotes, WWE has significant interest in bringing Chelsea Green back to the company. There’s speculation that if she is offered a contract then it will be for the main roster.
