Brock Lesnar is currently under contract with WWE but he will be making his return to UFC next month to fight Mark Hunt at UFC 200. It’s certainly an interesting scenario and one would think that WWE wouldn’t be so willing to let Brock work the fight if they weren’t getting something in return.
It’s been reported that WWE will be looking for UFC 200 to promote SummerSlam and they are also trying to get Paige VanZant for SummerSlam. VanZant’s manager confirmed that WWE has indeed reached out to Paige about a possible appearance but she’s not the only UFC star WWE is looking to us.
According to Forbes WWE is hoping that UFC will allow Ronda Rousey to make an appearance at WrestleMania 33. Rousey made an appearance at WrestleMania 31 and she got physical inside the ring with Triple H and Stephanie McMahon. The segment got a lot of people talking and it was great publicity for WWE and UFC. However, the report from Forbes notes that WWE is hoping to secure Ronda Rousey for an actual match at WrestleMania 33 as opposed to just an appearance.
