Fans know that they can expect to see a few interesting surprises during the Royal Rumble pay-per-view, and on Saturday night Shane McMahon made his return during the 30 man Royal Rumble match.
Now Dave Meltzer of F4Wonline.com is reporting that Shane McMahon is set for the Elimination Chamber PPV and WrestleMania 38. It’s not clear at this point in time who Shane’s opponent will be.
Meltzer claimed that Shane McMahon, “has a match on the books but it was said to have not been finalized a few days ago which is evidently why they did no angle with him (at the Rumble).”
Shane McMahon entered the Royal Rumble at number 28 and made it to the final four before he was eliminated by Brock Lesnar. Prior to the Royal Rumble he last competed at WrestleMania 37 when Braun Strowman defeated him in a steel cage match. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
