WWE has signed some interesting names over the last few years and one up and comer who has been talked about a lot is former Olympic gold medalist Gabe Steveson. Last year WWE officially drafted Gable Steveson to the Monday Night Raw brand, but fans haven’t seen much of him on WWE programming.
Steveson last appeared on WWE TV at WrestleMania 38 when he was involved in a segment with Chad Gable, and the Wrestling Observer Newsletter reports that the original plan was to have Steveson up and running at WrestleMania. However, it’s been a slower process than expected.
It’s being said that Gable Steveson’s status is in question as he’s not in Orlando with all of the other prospects. Steveson is not currently part of WWE’s plans and he’s not on the list of talent to be used right now. Steveson is in Minnesota, and is still under WWE contract.
Triple H revealed during a recent interview that there was talk of him working with Steveson at WrestleMania this year, but ultimately that idea was nixed. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
