The WWE Draft used to be one of WWE’s most anticipated events, but it’s been some time since the company has held a draft as the last one took place in 2024. While some could argue that the rosters need to be switched up, it doesn’t seem that there are any plans for a draft in the near future.
Bodyslam is reporting that sources have indicated there’s no tentative date planned for a 2026 WWE Draft. It was noted that the rosters could potentially be reshuffled throughout the year like in 2025, but as of right now an official draft is not scheduled.
Even though a draft was not held in 2025 multiple names switched brands such as Damian Priest, The Miz and Sami Zayn who moved to Raw, and last summer LA Knight made the jump to Monday Night Raw.
The WWE Draft is a good way to shake things up and sometimes reset the storylines on Raw and SmackDown. There are a number of storylines that have been running on both brands for months now, so one way or another it will be interesting to see if WWE refreshes things from a creative standpoint following WrestleMania.
