It’s always exciting to see a NXT star get called up to the main roster as some talents have an immediate impact on the status quo. Kevin Owens instantly made a name for himself by feuding with John Cena when he got called up, and now it sounds like WWE could be looking to do something similar with Grayson Waller.
WrestleVotes recently spoke to GiveMeSport about Waller’s status, and it was noted that WWE wants to do something serious with him when he arrives on the main roster.
“WWE really likes Grayson Waller and really see something in him. He may stay down in NXT, just so they can try to figure out something big for him, like Kevin Owens coming in and beating John Cena. They like him a lot, so that’s one guy that they’re gonna try to do something serious with.”
Grayson Waller previously appeared on Raw last year when he was feuding with AJ Styles, so it will be interesting to see who he ends up targeting when he finally does get called up. Stay tuned for more updates as they become available.
