WWE recently shook things up with the 2023 WWE Draft, and during the draft several NXT stars were called up to the main roster including former NXT Women’s Tag Team Champions Katana Chance & Kayden Carter.
Chance & Carter were selected for the Raw brand during the draft and fans had been patiently waiting for their debut on the main roster. The duo faced off against Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler, but unfortunately they lost their debut match on Raw when Carter tapped out to the Kirifuda Clutch which was applied by Baszler.
PWInsider is reporting that WWE was happy with Katana Chance & Kayden Carter’s work in their debut match on Monday Night Raw this week against Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler.
The WWE women’s tag team division has been hit with some setbacks in recent weeks with Raquel Rodriguez & Liv Morgan being forced to vacate the belts due to Liv’s injury. Ronda Rousey & Shayna Baszler won the WWE Women’s Tag Team Titles last week on Raw they seem to be committed to making their run mean something.
