There’s certainly no shortage of content for wrestling fans to watch, and the amount of weekly wrestling content will be expanding in the weeks to come thanks to NXT going live on USA Network and AEW’s debut on TNT.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Radio that there’s been talk of filming three hours worth of content on Fridays when SmackDown Live makes the jump to FOX.
The idea is that SmackDown Live will make up two of the three hours. It’s not known exactly what the third hour will be, but it could air on FS1 or the WWE Network.
It’s also worth noting that according to Meltzer there’s talk that 205 Live could be ending and that the brand is viewed as a failed experiment.
The belief is that with a third hour of content on Friday nights WWE will churn out 8 hours worth of content on a weekly basis, not including pay-per-views.
